Latest News And Hosting Review Bulletproof hosting Provider

Bulletproof hosting sometimes is known as bulk-friendly hosting is a service provided by some domain hosting or web hosting firms that allow their customer considerable leniency in the kinds of material they may upload and distribute. This leniency has been taken advantage of by spammers and providers of online gambling.

The provider services to any business, no matter how illegal or unsavory and ignore abuse reports. Mostly websites which host child pornography, cybercrime, and the sale of illegal drugs are often hosted. The cybercriminals run all sorts of severe offenders from phishing pages to vulnerability scanners, and from crypto-mining operations to malware repositories.

Bulletproof Hosting Provider

The hosting company ignores reports of criminal activity or copyright infringement happening on their servers. The providers shield themselves from any responsibility behind bulky and wide-ranging terms of service.

Many service providers have Terms of Service that do not allow certain materials to be uploaded or distributed, or the service to be used in a particular way, and may suspend a hosting account, after a few complaints; to minimize the risk of their IP subnet being blocked by anti-spam filters using Internet Protocol-based filtering. Additionally, some service providers may have ethical concerns that underpin their service terms and conditions.

Often, a bulletproof host allows a content provider to bypass the laws or contractual terms of service regulating Internet content and service use in its own country of operation, as many of these ‘bulletproof hosts' are based ‘overseas'.

(May 16, 2018) Dutch Police Seized ten Servers of Bulletproof Provider located in the Netherlands. MaxiDed is known for harboring child pornography sites and command and control servers for DDoS botnets, cyber-espionage, malvertising, spam, and malware operations. The servers were hosting service to the file-sharing site used for sharing child pornography content and host malware. The hosting provider employees were aware of it and did no action.
The provider's website now redirects to a now-classic Dutch police takedown page that reads: “The police investigation focuses on the criminal activities of MaxiDed and the people behind MaxiDed.
MaxiDed uses the Dutch (digital) infrastructure to provide services to criminals by renting out servers from which criminal activities can be deployed such as sending spam messages and causing DDOS attacks.”
MaxiDed established in 2008, offering dedicated servers, VPS, VPN, and server colocation services. The company host nearly 2,500 servers across 30 hosting providers in 82 countries. It was aggressive in marketing, and its ads became a common occurrence on cybercrime forums. The cybercrime groups like Carbanak, many nation-state cyber-espionage operations hosted command and control servers for Mirai DDoS botnets, the AdGholas malvertising campaign, and many credit card fraud operations, according to Trend Micro and SpoofIt reports.

(October 3, 2019) German Police Raid Hosting Facility Dubbed “CyberBunker” in Traben-Trarbach, 60 miles west of Frankfurt, Germany, on September 27, 2019. The police seize domains, 200 Servers, and arrested 13 people. The 1.3-acre facility was the temperature-controlled bunker of a former NATO, buried five floors underground.

(October 2, 2019) Dutch police seize KV servers from a bulletproof hosting provider and arrested two men. The provider has sheltered tens of IoT malware botnets, mostly running a version of the Mirai IoT malware responsible for hundreds of thousands of DDoS attacks around the world.
They were designed to infect Linux-based operating systems that run on routers and other “smart” (Internet of Things) devices.
The company allows its servers to host bot scanners, malware, and command-and-control (C&C) servers. Majority of botnets were operated by “script kiddies,” or “skidz,” a term meant to ridicule untalented hackers who use ready-made or automated tools to build botnets.
